Ragusa pasta: top quality and the finest ingredients
From fields of golden wheat to exceptional pasta.
30 years of quality
Ragusa d.o.o. was founded in 1991, with the main activity being the representation and distribution of imported pasta. A few years later, we decided to start our own pasta production and began creating our own brand. In 1994, the company purchased a fully automated line for the production of long pasta. As the market expanded and demand increased, the space in which the company operated was no longer sufficient for quality operations, leading to continuous investment in additional capacities. The latest major step was taken in 2017 with the construction of a new production hall in Čakovec and the acquisition of modern lines capable of meeting the market demand for dried pasta in both capacity and range.
The leader in the region
Today, Ragusa is the leading pasta producer in the region, with an annual production of over 8,500 tons and more than 100 employees across four plants in two countries. Ragusa is continually developing and expanding with the aim of increasing productivity, exports, total revenue, and creating new jobs. Constant innovations and modern automated production technology, along with quality control in every aspect of production and distribution, allow us to offer the market quality products with an optimal price-quality ratio.
A satisfied consumer as a measure of success
Customer satisfaction is our company’s mission, so we strive to adapt our products to the needs of an ever-changing market. Ragusa pasta is made from pure durum semolina and water, with no preservatives or added colors, and the drying process gives it a natural appearance. For thirty years, we have been offering a wide range of top-quality products to meet our customers’ desires and needs. To ensure quality throughout the production process, we have implemented several certifications: HACCP, IFS, and we also hold kosher and halal certificates.
30 years of quality
Ragusa d.o.o. was founded in 1991, with its headquarters in Varaždin. A few years later, we decided to start pasta production and began developing our own Paradiso brand. Moving from Varaždin to a new location in Pušćine marked a new era for Ragusa, with the acquisition of our first production lines. In 1994, the company purchased a fully automated line for producing long pasta. As the market expanded and demand increased, the existing space became insufficient, necessitating a move to a larger facility and the purchase of new production lines. Ragusa successfully implemented the PaSta project—an investment in production warehouse space and new technology—which began in September 2015 and concluded in 2017 with the opening of a new plant in Čakovec.
